I don't think we're in Williamsburg anymore...

Thank god its the weekend. This certainly was one hell of a week, between a trip to Colonial Heights, a french quiz, and an Issues in Health Exam, I certainly greet this second weekend of cycling fun with open arms. Today at "4pm" they cycling team congregated at the bricks and departed on our 4.5 hour drive to lovely Winstom-Salem...in other words we left a little before 5. We took Cory and Joa's cars, 3 bikes a piece on each, good for gas mileage i must say.

The drive here went rather quickly though considering its length. Cory and I discussed the regular topics of conversations, girls, bikes, and dudes who ride bikes. The conversation really was pretty good, i managed to stay awake the entire drive, which is a pretty big accomplishment for me, especially considering that I woke up today at 6 am to go swimming after going to sleep last night after 1 due to a food related distraction by the darster. Speaking of food, i love race weekends, they certainly are good for the feasting.

Tonight on the 4.5 hour trip we ate, footlong subs and cappucinos, then stopped an hour and a half later at Burger King to take a piss and get milkshakes. After pissing inside, we came out to find a gang of 12 yr old hood bitches coppin a tude with the bitch behind the counter at the home of the flame grilled burger, so we decided to go through the drive-thru thinking ourselves smart....BAD IDEA. We pulled up to the window and were instructed to pay 2.16, cheap as hell for two 1.99 milkshakes. I gave the lady the card and she tried to hand us some fries, cory then asked for the milkshakes. A large woman (probably the manager) came over the window and informed us she had mischarged us and asked for our cards back so she could charge us again....FUCK NO. We refused to do so, i dont want this biotch charging me twice. After about 5 minutes of argument, Cory handed them two dollars, they requested we pay them .60 cents, stingy ass mother fuckers i tell you. Eventually the lady gave us the milk shakes and said she did not have time for our nonsense. Woohooo .60 cents up on Burger Bitches. The rest of the drive was uneventful.

Our hotel however is not, first its one of those hotels with the outside doors to the rooms, the kind you see with domestic violence in cops. When Cory and I went in to get the key and the boys in the parking lot were taking off the bikes some guy commented on how it was "probably a good idea that we take those down." Eh, were six strong guys, we have nothing to worry about. After unloading in the room Evrett showed us a trick, the kid can pull his teeth out, yes it is great. Tomorrow during the race we have a bet that he wont pull them out and scare the other guys, if he does so, hes the man, although, he already is anyway. He also can put them upside down, which definitely gives him a little strange look. Ahhh, time to settle down in a room with 6 other guys and some captain duff. Good night ladies and gentlemen, may the wind be at our backs and our opponents faces tomorrow.
